My First Blog

 Hi, I'm Ava Maslen. I am a sophomore and dual enrolled at Linn Benton and Oregon State University. I am studying Business Marketing.

I have enrolled in this class to learn more about marketing and how it plays a role in today's world. Throughout this course, I am interested in learning about advertising and basic marketing strategies as I feel those will both help me down the road. 

A little bit about me is I am super into sports and love supporting my teams and certainly the Beavs!! You can always catch me at the OSU games, no matter the sport. If I'm not at the games then I'm probably either shopping or at a country music concert! I also am in Delta Gamma at OSU where I love being surrounded by a great group of girls. I love spending time with my family and dog and have a twin brother and older sister who I am super close with.

 Starbucks Hype Especially Around Pumpkin Spice Season The brand I chose is Starbucks. People are going crazy over the fact that pumpkin-flavored items are back. Pumpkin-flavored items at Starbucks come and go due to the season and weather, they are only around for a very short time (2 ish months).                Marketing In the News: Introducing the WOW- iPhone15 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHTrLYShBRQ                My interest in the new Iphone 15 video ad struck because it amazes me how Apple continues to keep creating basically the same thing a bunch of times just with a bunch of changes and tweaks throughout the different models.  In this video Apple really showcases all the new features in the new phone and shows them in action. It went through life as a human and showed how the new Iphone 15 is there for you and is always ready to help and support you throughout your activities which can vary from all sorts of things.
